Intended Use:
The Feline Serum Amyloid A Antigen Assay (Whole Blood/ Serum/Plasma) is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the quantitative detection of Serum Amyloid A (SAA) in feline’s whole blood and serum or plasma with the use of Fluorescence Immunoassay Analyzer.
Principle:
The Feline Serum Amyloid A Antigen Assay detects SAA in whole blood/serum/plasma specimens based on sandwich Fluorescence Immunoassay. In this test, SAA antibody is coated on the test line. During testing, the specimen reacts with the SAA antibody that is conjugated with fluorescent microspheres. The mixture migrates up the membrane to react with the SAA antibody on the membrane. The concentration of SAA in the sample correlates with the fluorescence signal intensity captured on the T line，which can be scanned by Fluorescence Immunoassay Analyzer. The test result of SAA will be displayed on the Fluorescence Immunoassay Analyzer screen.
