Intended Use:
The Canine NT-proBNP Antigen Assay (Serum/Plasma) is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the quantitative detection of N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide in canine's serum or plasma with the use of Fluorescence Immunoassay Analyzer.
Principle:
The Canine NT-proBNP Antigen Assay detects Canine N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide in serum/plasma specimens based on sandwich Fluorescence Immunoassay. In this test, Canine N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide antibody is coated on the test line. During testing, the specimen reacts with the Canine N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide antibody that is conjugated with fluorescent microspheres. The mixture migrates up the membrane to react with the Canine N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide antibody on the membrane. The concentration of Canine N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide in the sample correlates with the fluorescence signal intensity captured on the T line, which can be scanned by Fluorescence Immunoassay Analyzer. The testing result of Canine N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide will be displayed on the Fluorescence Immunoassay Analyzer screen.
